All funding decisions are made by our Board of Directors, who review individual requests, church referrals, and community nominations each month. Every penny we distribute goes directly to those in genuine need, with 100% of funds supporting the people and projects we assist.

Through the support of Florence-based credit card processing companies PetSwipe and Swipe Payment Solutions, one penny from every transaction processed is donated directly to Pennies for Christ. These contributions come strictly from company profits — never from customer transactions.
With more than 250,000 transactions each month, this commitment equals approximately $2,500 in monthly giving — and growing.
We primarily serve the Florence, Darlington, and Pee Dee region of South Carolina — but we are always open to assisting wherever a genuine need arises.
